Somehow, with only a few small changes, you've made this installment even more charming than before. o_O I really like this every time I read it. I'm not overly familiar with Amanda's character in TOS, but she comes off clear and distinctive in this chapter. Which, if this new fic goes along the same path the other seemed to be, will be rather important I think. ;)
One thing that's buzzing in my mind currently... I'm curious as to what would have been going thru your Mccoy's head when he saw Spock again at Jim's... hearing, or whatever. Especially in connection with his, "I dunno, but I like him" comment. Now he'd finally have a name with the face. Not that I didn't like the progression of the old story. I'm just dying to poke around in Bones' brain a bit more. ;) And lurvin' any aspect of the Spock/McCoy, of course. ;D
