in ancient times, cats were worshiped as gods. they have never forgotten this.

So I was feeling kind of down in the dumps, and then I was all, "Hey! I haven't seen the Confidential episode for Gridlock! Doctor + kittens = :D!"

AND. OMG. WHY DID I NOT WATCH THIS BEFORE.

(ALSO, HI NEW PEOPLE, THIS IS INDEED THE SORT OF HIGHLY INTELLECTUAL THING THAT I POST ABOUT ON A REGULAR BASIS.)

SEE, AT THE BEGINNING HE'S ALL,

"I'm not big on pets at all, traditionally, but you know, I thought...I've got to act with this cat, we've gotta bond somehow."
(HOW ADORABLY SERIOUS IS THIS MAN ABOUT HAVING TO ACT WITH A CAT???)

BUT THEN. OMG. THIS HAPPENS.

AND THEN IT'S ALL, "I THINK, ACTUALLY, DAVID'S QUITE ATTACHED TO ONE OF THEM...HE'S REFUSING TO PUT IT DOWN."
(THE CREW SEES RIGHT THROUGH YOU AND YOUR PROFESSED DISLIKE OF CATS, DAVID.)

AND THEN HE GETS ADORABLY BAFFLED WHEN THE CREW FEEDS THE KITTENS CHEESE.

TO QUOTE, "CATS EAT CHEESE - WHO KNEW THAT?"
BUT YOU HAVE TO IMAGINE IT TYPED IN A SEXY SCOTTISH ACCENT.
I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT WORKS EITHER.

ARE YOU A PUDDLE OF GOO YET? BECAUSE I AM.

HOW WAS THAT NOT THE MOST ADORABLE THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN.

SEE. ADORABLE.

AND IN THE FUTURE, WHEN I FEEL SAD, I CAN LOOK AT THESE PICTURES AND STOP BEING SAD AND BE AWESOME INSTEAD.

SO CUTE! This reminds me that I really need to get caught up on DW. I started watching last year and got through the third season, and I was holding on to the fourth season because I knew it would be awhile before we got new episodes and I wanted to savor what new stuff I did have to watch, but I think I just need to get over it and watch it.

The fourth season is so much awesome that sometimes I can't even wrap my head around it. I'm so bad about holding off on watching things, though - I plowed through S1-S4 in four weeks, so now I'm watching classic Who to keep myself placated.
